The symmetry of the forms and innovative design of Cocktail Table by Eileen Gray have made it a sought-after piece for the home or office. Designed in 1927, the table takes its name from Eileen Gray's summer holiday house, E 1027 - Mayson end Board de Mer. The E is for Eileen, and the numbers 10, 2 and 7 represent the alphabetical order of the letters J, B and G, respectively. This table is included in the permanent collection of MoMA.
