DANISH CRAFT AT COUNTER HEIGHT
Introduced in 1949, the Y Chair Barstool is an adaptation of the famous Wishbone Chair designed by the Danish designer Hans Wegner. The name referred to the Y-shaped backrest or the fork shaped bone found in the chicken’s chest. Inspired by the Chinese furniture of the Ming Dynasty, this chair indeed is one of Wegner’s most famous models. Comfortable and practical, Y Chair Barstool is perfect for modern kitchen or bar. The curved hind legs, semi-circular top rail and elegant Y-back come together to give this bar stool a refined, yet welcoming look.
