The best clock designs understand this dual role: they tell the time accurately and read as considered objects from across a room. George...

From a 15 cm table clock to a 76.5 cm wall clock

Size is the first choice with these clocks. The nine designs run from a 15 cm table clock to a 76.5 cm wall clock, and two of them stand on a surface rather than hang. Find the size that suits your wall or surface, then choose the shape.

For a desk, shelf or bedside table. The Night and Pill clocks are the two freestanding designs, both about 15 cm wide. The Pill is a desk clock on a stainless steel base, made to stand on one of our modern desks. The Night is a small brass table clock for a shelf or one of our side tables.

For a smaller wall. Four clocks are 25.5 to 34 cm across and weigh 1.5 kg or less: the Asterisk, the Blue Block, the Steering Wheel and the Ball.

For a wall that needs one large piece. The Kite, the Spindle and the Sunflower are 55 to 76.5 cm wide. The Sunflower is the largest clock in the collection, a walnut design 76.5 cm across.
