L-shaped sofas at a glance
The eight pieces on this page fall into two groups: two complete L-shaped sofas, and six single sections about a metre square. The table compares them from their product pages. For a straight sofa, see the 2-seat sofas and 3-seat sofas, or browse the whole sofa collection.

How to plan an L-shaped sofa
Start with the two walls and the way in. A complete L-shape fixes both sides for you; sections let you set the length, one square at a time.
Complete pieces cover 245 to 255 cm
The two complete L-shapes are the largest pieces here. The corner sofa on a stainless steel base measures 245 cm along one side and 176 cm along the other. The Charles Sofa runs 255 cm overall, a 158 cm sofa plus a 97 × 158 cm chaise, so its return is 158 cm. At 104 and 120 kg, they are the heaviest pieces on the page, so plan the route into the room before delivery.
Sections are about a metre square
The six sections are 97 to 105 cm square and weigh 24 to 44 kg each. Each Camaleonda Style section is 97 cm square, so every section you add makes that side of the L 97 cm longer, and the product pages say the sections connect to one another. More of these pieces are on the Mario Bellini page. The Comfort Style Curve and Corner sofas are single units, at 102 and 105 cm.
Five of the eight come in a left or right version
Decide which side the arm or chaise should sit before you order. The Camaleonda Style arm sections and corner sections each come as separate left and right versions, and the Charles Sofa offers a left or right chaise. The pages name the side without saying which way you face, so check the product images, or ask customer support, if you are unsure. The other three list no side.
What is an L-shaped sofa?
An L-shaped sofa, also called a corner sofa, seats people along two sides that meet at a right angle. On this page it comes in two forms. One is a complete piece, such as the 245 × 176 cm corner sofa on a stainless steel base or the 255 cm Charles Sofa with its chaise. The other is a set of modular sections, each about a metre square, joined to make the L.
How big is an L-shaped sofa?
It depends on how it is built. The two complete pieces here measure 245 by 176 cm and 255 by 158 cm across their two sides. The modular sections are 97 to 105 cm square and 70 to 71 cm high, so the size of a sectional is set by how many sections you join. Measure both walls, and the walkway in front, before you choose.
Do I need a left-hand or right-hand L-shaped sofa?
That depends on which side of the room the return or chaise needs to sit. Five of the eight pieces here are side-specific: the four Camaleonda Style sections come in left and right versions, and the Charles Sofa offers a left or right chaise. The product pages do not say which way you face when naming the side, so check the images, or ask customer support, before ordering.
Can the sections be rearranged?
The Camaleonda Style sections can. Their product pages say each one connects to other Camaleonda Style sections for flexible layouts, and every section in this grid is the same 97 cm square. The Charles Sofa arrives in two sections that fix together underneath. The Comfort Style Curve and Corner sofas are single units, listed as fully assembled, at 102 and 105 cm square.
Is there a curved corner sofa?
Yes. The Comfort Style Curve Sofa is listed as a curved modular piece. It is a single section, 102 cm square and 70 cm high, weighing 24 kg, in polyurethane foam upholstered in velvet, with Alcantara and bouclé listings too. Its seat height is about 38 cm, which matches the listed seat height of the Comfort Style Corner Sofa.
How do L-shaped sofas arrive, and will one fit through my door?
Seven of the eight are listed as fully assembled; the Charles Sofa comes in two sections. Packed, each Camaleonda Style section measures 100 × 100 × 72 cm and the Comfort Style Corner Sofa 108 × 108 × 74 cm. The corner sofa on a stainless steel base lists a packing size of 178 × 83 × 86 cm. Compare the smallest packed figure with your narrowest door and hallway.
What upholstery can I choose?
Most of these are fabric. The Camaleonda Style sections come in bouclé, velvet or Alcantara, and the bouclé is 95% polyester and 5% acrylic. The Comfort Style Curve Sofa has velvet, Alcantara and bouclé listings, and the Comfort Style Corner Sofa is microfibre. The corner sofa on a stainless steel base comes in wool or premium leather, and the Charles Sofa in premium leather.
How do I care for a corner sofa?
Follow the care line on the product page. For the fabric pieces, the pages suggest dusting and light vacuuming, blotting spills straight away with a dry cloth, and a fabric-safe cleaner for marks. The Curve Sofa page adds brushing and a fabric protector spray. For leather, dust it and use a leather cleaner. The wool corner sofa page suggests a soft brush along the seams.
Are the L-shaped sofas in stock?
Some pieces and finishes are held in stock for faster dispatch. The Comfort Style Corner Sofa page shows a stock dispatch line, and the two Camaleonda Style corner sections offer express delivery options. The rest show a longer lead time. Check the line under the Add to Cart button for the piece and upholstery you choose, because it can differ between finishes.
Who designed these sofas?
The product pages credit the Comfort Style pieces to Michel Ducaroy and the Camaleonda Style sections to Mario Bellini. The Charles Sofa page names no designer. These are reproductions: each product page states that the item is not manufactured by or affiliated with the original designer or associated parties.
