SCULPTURAL RODS WITH A FLOATING TOP
This Style Platner Coffee Table designed by Warren Platner, is an icon of the American Mid-Century era. It distinguished unique 'wire' base and soft curves, it is constructed from pre-stressed and stainless Steel rods, welded to horizontal and edge-framing wire to create a sturdy and stable foundation.
CENTREPIECE WITH PRACTICAL EASE
In the 1960s, Warren Platner transformed steel wire into a sculptural furniture collection, creating what is now considered a design icon of the modern era. Vertical steel wire rods welded to circular horizontal and edge-framing rods create a unique appearance. The table top is a stunning piece of bevel edged plate glass. The collection also includes side and coffee tables, chairs and a stool.
