Comme beaucoup d'entre nous, Eero Saarinen trouvait qu'il était inconfortable de dîner avec trop de pieds autour de soi. Il a donc trouvé la solution parfaite en concevant la table à manger ronde Tulip au milieu des années 1950. Il a consacré cinq ans à la conception de la collection révolutionnaire « Tulip » pour remédier au « monde laid, désordonné et agité » qu'il observait sous les chaises et les tables – le soi-disant « bidonville de pieds ». Aujourd'hui, plus de 60 ans après, cet accomplissement majeur du design moderne continue de briller, son esthétique minimaliste apportant un attrait percutant à votre intérieur.
