Inspired by an ancient Egyptian folding stool that dates back to ca. 1500 BC .Kjaerholm’s method of refining historical furniture types has again been put into play and the result is the stool's minimalistic and elegant expression. The timeless elegance that resonates in the PK91 Stool made it a permanent collection at the Röhsska Museum in Gothenborg, in Sweden.
