KAISER IDELL TAFELLAMP IN ZWART EN MESSING
De Duitse zilversmid Christian Dell heeft de Bauhaus-benadering van industriële verlichting mede vormgegeven en ontwierp in 1931 de wereldberoemde Kaiser Idell tafellamp. Het vlaggenschip van de Kaiser Idell lampen, die sinds de jaren 60 vaak op de bureaus van detectives op tv te zien was, en daarom vaak de 'Detective's Lamp' werd genoemd. De serie is gebaseerd op een wereldwijd gepatenteerd draaigewricht en de karakteristieke koepel met het reliëf "ORIGINAL KAISER-idell". De term "idell" verwijst naar het woord 'idee' en zijn achternaam Dell. "Kaiser" verwijst naar de oorspronkelijke fabrikant - KAISER idell.
