Poul Kjaerholm enjoys using assemble techniques while his exploration of materials resembles simplification of structure into a type-form and these characteristics resonates on the three-legged stool he designed in 1959, the PK33 Stool. The stool draws on construction techniques from the PK71 nesting tables and the PK80 daybed, yet has its own strong, unique expression.
