Which round meeting table fits your room?
This collection holds two round pedestal tables for small meetings, in three sizes. Both stand 72 cm high, so they pair with standard meeting chairs, and both use a single central base, so chairs can go anywhere around the edge.
Table | Top | Height | Top finish | Base | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Noguchi Cyclone | 102 cm round | 72 cm | Black laminate | Stainless steel wire on a black powder-coated base | 34 kg |
Eames round conference table | 105 cm round | 72 cm | Laminate, white or black | Cast aluminium feet spanning 69 cm, black powder-coated column | 19 kg |
Eames round conference table | 120 cm round | 72 cm | Laminate, white or black | As above | 19 kg |
For a small meeting room or a home office. The Eames table's product page presents it for home offices and meeting rooms. At 105 or 120 cm across and 19 kg, it is the easier of the two to move and the larger top in the collection.
For a more sculptural piece. The Cyclone's black top sits on a base of stainless steel wire, and at 34 kg it is the heavier table. Its product page suggests it for casual dining or lounge settings as well as meetings.
Pair the table with meeting chairs. Our fixed-height meeting chairs have a 46 cm seat, swivel, and are presented on their product pages as boardroom and visitor chairs. See our modern office chairs to choose them together.
For six or more people, or a rectangular top. Neither table here is built for a large meeting. Our modern dining tables include an oval pedestal table that seats six to eight and four-legged tables, including a 137 by 91 cm rectangle, whose specifications list commercial use.
How many people can sit at a 120 cm round table?
Our product page does not give a seat count, so plan it from your chairs. The 120 cm top measures about 377 cm round its edge. Our fixed meeting chairs are 58 cm wide, so six of them would take up 348 cm of that edge and leave little room between them. Measure your chairs, and ask customer support if you are planning for a set number.
Is a round or rectangular table better for meetings?
A round table puts everyone at the same distance from the centre, with no head of the table, which suits small team discussions. A rectangular table makes better use of a long, narrow room and seats more people along its sides. This collection is round only; the four-legged rectangular table in our dining range lists commercial use.
What chairs go with these meeting tables?
Chairs with a fixed 46 cm seat, like the meeting chairs in our office range, sit comfortably at a 72 cm table. They swivel, have no height adjustment, and their product pages present them for boardrooms, conference rooms and visitors. If you need adjustable chairs for daily work at the same table, the office range also lists chairs with seats from 45.5 to 60 cm.
Can I use a meeting table for dining at home?
Yes. Both tables stand 72 cm high, the same as most of our dining tables, and their product pages mention home use: the Eames table for home offices, and the Cyclone for casual dining. Clean the laminate tops with a damp cloth and a mild cleaner, as the product pages advise.
Do the meeting tables need assembling?
The Eames round table is listed as needing assembly, joining its top, column and cast aluminium feet. The Cyclone's page does not list an assembly level, so check with customer support before delivery if you need to know. Assembly is not part of standard delivery, but customer support can arrange a quote.
Are these tables made by the original designer's manufacturer?
No. These tables are based on designs by Charles Eames and Isamu Noguchi, and they are not manufactured by or affiliated with the original designers or associated parties. We claim no rights in any third-party trademarks. Full specifications, lead times and warranty terms are listed on each product page. Browse the wider range in our designer tables collection.
