About Florence Knoll
Florence Knoll (1917 to 2019) was an American architect and designer, born in Saginaw, Michigan. She studied at Cranbrook, where she was taught by Eliel Saarinen, then at the Architectural Association in London, and under Mies van der Rohe in Chicago. She also worked for Walter Gropius and Marcel Breuer.
From the 1940s to 1965 she planned corporate interiors across post-war America, and she is credited with bringing modernist design into the office. She also designed furniture of her own, including sofas, chairs and tables. She received the National Medal of Arts.

What the numbers show
Every seat sits at the same height. The sofas, corner sofa and armchair all seat at 43.5 cm and stand 80 cm high, so any combination lines up across a room. The benches sit at 44 cm and the ottoman at 45 cm, within 1.5 cm of the sofa seat.
The 3-seater adds 70 cm for GBP 270. At 229 cm against 159 cm, the 3-seater costs GBP 270.00 more; a 2-seater and a 3-seater together come to GBP 2,129.00.
The corner sofa needs planning. At 245 × 176 cm and 104 kg it is the largest piece by far. Measure both walls and the route into the room before ordering.

What is a Florence Knoll sofa replica?
A Florence Knoll sofa replica is a reproduction of her rectilinear sofa design: square cushions on a slim steel base. It is sold as a reproduction, and every Mobelaris product page states that the item is not manufactured by or affiliated with the original designer. The Mobelaris 2-seater starts from GBP 929.50 and the 3-seater from GBP 1,199.50.
What is it made of?
Every piece in this collection has a solid wood inner frame on a stainless steel base, with multi-density or high-density foam cushions. Upholstery is wool or leather, depending on the piece: the sofas and armchair are offered in both, the benches in leather. Material and colour options are shown on each product page, with the current price for each choice.
How big are the Florence Knoll sofas?
The 2-seater is 159 cm wide and the 3-seater 229 cm wide, both 80 cm deep and 80 cm high with the seat at 43.5 cm. The corner sofa is 245 cm by 176 cm. The 2-seater weighs 57.8 kg, the 3-seater 62 kg and the corner sofa 104 kg. Full dimensions are on each product page.
Is there a matching armchair and ottoman?
Yes. The armchair is 82 cm wide, 83 cm deep and 80 cm high, with the same 43.5 cm seat height as the sofas and an untufted seat and back. It starts from GBP 619.50. The ottoman is 63 cm square and 45 cm high, from GBP 279.50, and sits within 1.5 cm of the sofa seat height.
What sizes do the benches come in?
There are two. The 2-seat bench is 96 cm wide, 51 cm deep and 44 cm high, and weighs 11 kg; it starts from GBP 514.50. The 3-seat bench is 153 cm wide, 52 cm deep and 44 cm high, and weighs 19 kg; it starts from GBP 694.50. Both are upholstered in leather on a stainless steel base.
Does the furniture need assembly?
No. Every piece arrives fully assembled, according to its product page. The larger pieces are heavy, though: the 3-seater weighs 62 kg and the corner sofa 104 kg. Check doorways, stairs and turns on the route into the room before ordering, especially for the 229 cm 3-seater and the corner sofa.
What is the warranty and delivery time?
All seven product pages list a 5-year warranty. Delivery for most pieces is 12 to 16 weeks; each product page shows its own estimate under the Add to Cart button, and some colourways may show faster dispatch. Timings are confirmed by email once the order is placed.
